Record video with the teleprompter
Use the built-in teleprompter recorder to capture video and audio directly in your browser while the script scrolls. Press Record to arm camera and microphone, then press Play: after the countdown, recording and scrolling start together. The recording stays local, produces a downloadable video file and does not upload your script, camera or microphone data to a server.

Timed waits and pauses in your script
Some recordings need a planned moment where the script stops moving. Add cues such as [wait:10] to hold the scroll for 10 seconds, or [pause] to stop indefinitely until you press play or Space. This is useful when you need to show a product, switch scenes, leave a demo on screen or create a natural silence in the script.

Do I need an account?
No. Everything runs directly in your browser and your script is saved locally on your device through local storage.
Does it work in every browser?
It works in modern desktop and mobile browsers with JavaScript enabled. Fullscreen behavior can vary slightly depending on browser permissions.
How does voice scroll work?
Voice scroll is not included in the current version. Right now the teleprompter uses smooth automatic scroll with live speed control.
Can I use mirror mode with physical teleprompter glass?
Yes. Mirror mode flips the script for reflection setups, which makes it suitable for physical teleprompter rigs and beam splitter glass.
Is it available on mobile?
Yes. The teleprompter works on mobile, tablet and desktop, so you can rehearse or record from almost any device with a browser.
How do I save my script?
Your text is saved automatically in the browser, and you can also download the script as a plain TXT file for backup or sharing.
How much text can I write?
There is no small fixed writing limit. Very long scripts may be too large to share by URL, but they can still be stored locally and downloaded as text.
Does the camera mirror record or upload video?
It records only when you press Record. The video is created locally in your browser for download and is not uploaded to a server.
